How do I setup my Amazon Fire TV stick for the very first time?

How can we help you today?

1. Add power

Plug the power adaptor into your TV Stick and plug the other end into a power outlet.

Then ensure your TV Stick is turned “on”.

2. Attach to your TV’s HDMI port

Plug the Fire TV Stick directly into the HDMI port on the back of your TV, or use a HDMI extender if you don’t want it plugged directly into the screen.

3. Select your channel

Turn your TV to the same channel that the TV Stick is plugged into (i.e. HDMI1, HDMI3). You should then see a loading screen with the “Fire TV Stick” logo.

4. Add a remote

Pop a few batteries into your remote. Once you’ve done this it should automatically pair with your stick. If your remote doesn’t pair, press and hold the Home Button for up to 10 sections to send it to “discovery mode” so you can complete the pairing process.

5. Connect to the Internet

Follow the instructions onscreen to connect your TV Stick to your Wi-Fi network.

6. Register your device

Follow the on-screen instructions to register your Fire TV Stick to your Amazon account.

These Terms and the relationship between you and TAPfit shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State Queensland Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severed herefrom and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

21. Successors and Assigns.

We may perform any of our obligations or exercise any of our rights under this Terms through one or more of our corporate affiliates (including any entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by or is under common control with us). If TAPfit or its assets are acquired by another entity, that entity will assume our rights and obligations as described in this Terms. You may not assign your rights or obligations under this Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent.

22. Subscriptions, Free Trials, Billing and Subscription Cancellation.

Subscription

Ongoing Subscription. Your TAPfit Online Studio or TAPfit Instructor Program Subscription, which may start with a free trial, will continue month-to-month and will renew on every renewal period unless and until you cancel your Subscription or we terminate it. You must have Internet access and provide us with a current, valid, accepted method of payment (as such may be updated from time to time, “Payment Method”) to use the TAPfit Online Studio Subscription service or Tapfit Instructor Program service. We will bill the monthly Subscription fee to your Payment Method. You must cancel your Subscription before it renews each month in order to avoid billing of the next month’s Subscription fees to your Payment Method.

Differing Subscriptions. We may offer a number of Subscription plans, including special promotional plans or Subscriptions with differing conditions and limitations. Any materially different terms from those described in these Terms will be disclosed at your sign-up or in other communications made available to you. You can find specific details regarding your Subscription with TAPfit Online Studio or TAPfit Instructor Program Subscription by visiting our website and clicking on the link. Some promotional Subscriptions are offered by third parties in conjunction with the provision of their own products and services. We are not responsible for the products and services provided by such third parties. We reserve the right to modify, terminate or otherwise amend our offered Subscription plans.

Free Trials
Your Subscription may start with a free trial. The free trial period of your Subscription may last for one week, one month, or as otherwise specified during sign-up. For combinations with other offers, restrictions may apply. Free trials are for new and certain former members only. TAPfit reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to determine your free trial eligibility.
We will begin billing your Payment Method for monthly Subscription fees at the end of the free trial period of your Subscription unless you cancel prior to the end of the free trial period. To view the specific details of your Subscription, including monthly Subscription price and end date of your free trial period, visit our website and click the “View billing details” link on the online portal. We may authorize your Payment Method through various methods, including authorizing it up to approximately one month of service as soon as you register. In some instances, your available balance or credit limit may be reduced to reflect the authorization during your free trial period.
You will not receive a notice from us that your free trial period has ended or that the paying portion of your Subscription has begun. Email support@tapfit.com for cancellation instructions. We will continue to bill your Payment Method on the agreed and accepted basis for your Subscription fee for your Subscription plan until you cancel.

Billing

Recurring Billing.
By starting your TAPfit Subscription and providing or designating a Payment Method, you authorize us to charge you a monthly Subscription fee at the then current rate, and any other charges you may incur in connection with your use of the TAPfit service to your Payment Method. You acknowledge that the amount billed each month may vary from month to month for reasons that may include differing amounts due to promotional offers, including gift card redemption and promotional code redemption, and/or changing or adding a plan, and you authorize us to charge your Payment Method for such varying amounts, which may be billed monthly in one or more charges.

Price Changes.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing for our service or any components thereof in any manner and at any time as we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion. Except as otherwise expressly provided for in these Terms of Use, any price changes to your service will take effect following email notice to you.

Billing Cycle.
The Subscription fee for our service will be billed at the beginning of the paying portion of your Subscription and each month, thereafter unless and until you cancel your Subscription. We automatically bill your Payment Method each month, on the calendar day corresponding to the commencement of your paying Subscription. Subscription fees are fully earned upon payment. We reserve the right to change the timing of our billing, in particular, as indicated below, if your Payment Method has not successfully settled. In the event your paying Subscription began on a day not contained in a given month, we may bill your Payment Method on a day in the applicable month or such other day as we deem appropriate. For example, if you started your TAPfit Subscription or became a paying member on January 31st, your next payment date is likely to be February 28th, and your Payment Method would be billed on that date. Your renewal date may change due to changes in your Subscription. We may authorize your Payment Method in anticipation of Subscription or service-related charges. As used in these Terms of Use, “billing” shall indicate a charge, debit or other payment clearance, as applicable, against your Payment Method. Unless otherwise stated differently, month or monthly refers to your billing cycle.

No Refunds for Subscriptions.
PAYMENTS ARE NONREFUNDABLE AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR PARTIALLY USED PERIODS. Following any cancellation, however, you will continue to have access to the service through the end of your current billing period. At any time, and for any reason, we may provide a refund, discount, or other consideration to some or all of our members (“credits”). The amount and form of such credits, and the decision to provide them, are at our sole and absolute discretion. The provision of credits in one instance does not entitle you to credits in the future for similar instances, nor does it obligate us to provide credits in the future, under any circumstance.

Payment Methods.
You may edit your Payment Method information by contacting us. If a payment is not successfully settled, due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, and you do not edit your Payment Method information or cancel your account (see, “Cancellation” below), you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts and authorize us to continue billing the Payment Method, as it may be updated. This may result in a change to your payment billing dates. For certain Payment Methods, the issuer of your Payment Method may charge you a foreign transaction fee or other charges. Check with your Payment Method service provider for details.

Cancellation.
You may cancel your TAPfit Subscription at any time, and you will continue to have access to the TAPfit service through the end of your monthly billing period. WE DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR ANY PARTIAL-MONTH SUBSCRIPTION PERIODS OR UNWATCHED CONTENT. To cancel refer to our cancellation policy. If you cancel your Subscription, your account will automatically close at the end of your current billing period.

23. Updates.

We may modify these Terms at any time, as we deem appropriate. If you disagree with the changes to the Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Site and Contents, and if you have registered as a member, cancel your registration. Your continued access or use of any of the Site or Contents following such notice signifies your acceptance of the modified Terms. It is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly to be aware of such modifications. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Site or Contents with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party should we exercise our right to modify or discontinue the Site or Contents. If you object to any such changes, your sole recourse will be to cease access to the Site or Contents. Nutritional information provided on the Website is taken from sources provided by third parties, including the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) NUTTAB 2010 guide to nutrient content. Before relying on any nutritional information on the Website, you should carefully evaluate the accuracy, completeness and relevance of this information for your purposes, and consider the need to obtain appropriate expert advice relevant to your circumstances. FSANZ has made considerable effort to ensure the quality of information in NUTTAB 2010, however, none of TAPfit or any other provider of nutritional information on the Website gives any warranty that the information is free from error or suitable for your purposes.
There are limitations associated with food composition databases. Nutrient data published in a database such as NUTTAB 2010 may represent an average of the nutrient content of a particular sample of foods and ingredients, determined at a particular time. The nutrient composition of foods and ingredients can vary substantially between batches and brands because of a number of factors, including changes in season, changes in formulation, processing practices and ingredient source. While most of the data contained in NUTTAB 2010 are generated from analysed values, some of the data are borrowed from overseas food composition tables; supplied by the food industry; taken from food labels; imputed from similar foods; or calculated using a recipe approach.

25. Refunds

Our refund policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If your refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days depending on the credit card provider. A processing and restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Refunds – Home Transformation System (if applicable)
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the shipping will be deducted from your refund. In the case of the Home Transformation System, $19 shipping (per product) will be deducted from your refund plus a $4 processing fee. Purchases received outside of the Return Policy Guidelines will not be mailed back and will not be refunded.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
